කල්ප කන්නංගරගේ ජීවන තොරතුරු වලින් බිදක්

නම                      : කන්නංගරගේ දාෙන් කල්ප දිල්ශාන්

මූලික අධ්‍යාපනය  : ගල්කිස්ස විද්‍යා විද්‍යාලය – 1 වන ශ්‍රේණියේ සිට අ.පො.ස (සා/පෙ) දක්වා

. මෙම විද්‍යාලයේදී 5 වන ශ්‍රේණියේ ශිෂ්‍යත්ව විභාගය ලකුණු 157ක් ලබා සමත් විය. අ.පො.ස (සා/පෙ) විභාගය 2006 දී සමත් විය .

. විෂය බාහීර කටයුතු වලදී (ක්‍රීඩා,කථික,විවාද,නිවේදන අාදී අංශවල බොහෝ දක්ෂතා දක්වමින් සහතික කුසලාන පළදනා දිනා අැත.)

උසස් අධ්‍යාපනය  :

. සා/පෙළ සමත් වී උසස් පෙළ හැදෑරීම සදහා කොළඔ නාලන්දා විද්‍යාලයට අැතුළත් විය.  එහිදී කලා විෂය ධාරාව හදාරා 2010 අ.පො.ස (උ/පෙළ) විභාගය සමත් වී කොළඔ විශ්වවිද්‍යාලයේ නීති පීඨයට අැතුළත් විය.

. නාලන්දා විද්‍යාලයේ වසර කිහිපයකට පසුව කලා විෂය ධාරාවෙන් උසස් පෙළ සමත් වී නීති පීඨයට අැතුලත් වූ එකම ශිෂ්‍යයා කල්ප දිල්ෂාන් කන්නංගර වන්නේය. ඒ වෙනුවෙන් ඔහුට 2010 නාලන්දා ත්‍යාග ප්‍රධානෝත්සවයේදී රන් පළඳනාවක් හා විශේෂ පදක්කමක් ප්‍රදානය කරන ලදී. 

. නාලන්දා විද්‍යාලයේ විවාද කණ්ඩායම නියෝජනය කරමින් ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ සියලුම ප්‍රධාන පෙලේ පාසල් අතර පැවති තරඟ වලදී බොහෝ ජයග්‍රහණ ලබා දීමට දායක විය.

. මෙම කාලය තුලදී දිස්ත්‍රික්ක, පළාත් සහ ජාතික මට්ටමේ කථික හා විවාද තරඟ වලදී ප්‍රථම ස්ථාන දිනා ඇත.

. 2009 වසරේ සමස්ත ලංකා කථික තරඟාවලියේදී ප්‍රථම ස්ථානය දිනා ගත්තේය.

. උසස් පෙළ සමත් වීමෙන් පසුව විශ්ව විද්‍යාලයට ඇතුලත් වන තෙක් දර්ශනී චන්ද්‍රසේන මහත්මිය යටතේ සංගීතය හැදෑරීය.

. TV  ලංකා චැනලයේ ළමා සංගීත වැඩසටහන් ඉදිරිපත් කරන්නෙකු ලෙස කටයුතු කළේය.

 

විශ්වවිද්‍යාල අධ්‍යාපනය : 

  •  කොළඹ විශ්ව විද්‍යාලයේ නීති පිඨයේ ඉතා දක්ෂ විවාදකයෙක් විය. ක්‍රීඩා සහ අනෙකුත් බාහිර කටයුතු වලදීද කැපී පෙනෙන දක්ෂයෙකි. අවසන් වසර විභාගයද සමත් විය. එමගින් ඔහු නීතිවේදියෙකු බවට පත් විය.
  • 2016 අගෝස්තු මාසයේදී 16 වන දින උපාධි උත්සවයේදී උපාධිය ලබා ගැනීමට නියමිතව සිටියේය.

2016 දෙසැම්බර් මාසයේ දිනක නීතිඥයෙකු වශයෙන් දිවුරුම් දීමට නියමිතව සිටියේය.

ජනමාධ්‍ය මෙහෙවර :

  • විශ්ව විද්‍යාල අධ්‍යාපනය ලබන කාලය තුලදී ජාතික රූපවාහිනියට සම්බන්ධ වී මාධ්‍යවේදියෙකු වශයෙන් වැඩසටහන් කීපයක කටයුතු කළේය.

– ජාතික රූපවාහිනියේ ‘ අකුර ‘ වැඩසටහනේ පසුබිම් කථිකයෙකු හා රංගන ශිල්පියෙකු                                      ලෙස සම්බන්ධ විය.

– ජාතික රූපවාහිනියේ ‘ ඩිබා සමග කැකිරා ‘ වැඩසටහනේ ඩිබා ලෙස වැඩසටහන ඉදිරිපත්                                     කළේය.

සිරස රූපවාහිනියේ ‘සටන’ වැඩසටහනක මාධ්‍යවේදියෙකු වශයෙන් කටයුතු කළේය.

ගුරු වෘත්තීය :

අ.පො.ස (සා/පෙ) ඉතිහාසය විෂය හා අ.පො.ස (උ/පෙ) දේශපාලන විද්‍යාව විෂය සඳහා උපකාරක පංති ගුරුවරයෙකු වශයෙන් අධ්‍යාපන ආයතන කිහිපයකම කටයුතු කළේය.

කල්පගේ අවසන් හෝරා කිහිපය :

2016.07.11 වන දින නීති විද්‍යාලයේ විභාගය ආරම්භ වීමට නියමිතව තිබුණි.

2016.06.08 වන දින රාත්‍රියේදී විභාගයට සුදානම් වෙමින් පාඩම් කරමින් සිටියේය. මිතුරෙකු දුරකතනයෙන් ඔහු ඇමතීය. පසුව කල්ප නිවසෙන් නික්ම ගියේය.

පසුදා පාන්දර එනම් 2016.06.09 දින මිතුරා දුන් යතුරු පැදිය පදවමින් සිටියදී අනතුරකට ලක්වී ජිවිතයෙන් සමු ගත්තේය.

මොහුගේ සමුගැන්ම අප සැමට මෙන්ම රටටද මහත් වූ අභාග්‍යකි. ඔහුගේ දක්ෂතා මෙන්ම හැකියාවන්ද ඉදිරියේදී දක්වමින් ජීවත්වීමට හැකි වූවා නම් ඔහු ඉතා දක්ෂ නීතිඥවරයෙකු, දක්ෂ ගුරුවරයෙකු හා දක්ෂ මාධ්‍යවේදියෙකු වනවා පමණක් නොව රටේ ඉතා විශිෂ්ට පුරවැසියෙකුද වන්නේය. කල්පගේ ජිවිත සමුගැන්ම පෞද්ගලිකව අපටද රටටද ඉමහත් පාඩුවකි.

 

A BRIEF PROFILE OF KALPA KANNANGARA’S LIFE

NAME:                                    KANNANGARAGE’ DON KALPA DILSHAN

BASIC EDUCATION:              Science College, Mount Lavinia. (from Grade 1 class up to GCE O/L)

 

  • Passed scholarship Grade Five Examination obtaining 157 marks from this school.
  • Passed the GCE O/L Examination in 2006.
  • During the education period at this school, he had achieved in a number of competencies and won certificates, shields, badges etcetera from Sports, Oratory, Debating and public Announcing while engaging in Extra Curricular Activities.

 

HIGHER EDUCATION CAREER

  • He entered into the Law Faculty of Colombo University, getting through the GCE A/L Examination in 2010 by studying the Art Stream as a result of the admission to Nalanda College, Colombo and proceeding further education.
  • Kalpa Dilshan Kannangara was the one who became the first student ever entered to the Law Faculty of Colombo University in 2010, after several years in the Nalanda College history. For this event, he was awarded a special medal from Nalana College at the 2010 Prize Giving.
  • He had represented the Nalanda College Debating team and contributed to bring victories in competitions against several leading schools in Sri Lanka.
  • During those days, he had won first Place in the District, Provincial and National level Oratory and Debating Competitions.
  • In the year 2009, he had won the first place of the All Island Oratory Competitions,
  • He was following Music under Mrs. Dharshanee Chandrasena, during the transition period after passing Advanced Level until the admission to the University.
  • He was working in the TV Lanka Channel too, as a Children’s Programs Presenter.

 

 

UNIVERSITY EDUCATION CAREER

  • He was a competent debater in the Law Faculty of Colombo University. Not only that, he too was a significant participant on other extra activities in all Sports, Social, Religious and Literary aspects, and eventually succeed the Final Year Examination and consequently to became a Lawyer.
  • He was due to obtain the graduate-ship in the month of August 2016 and als he was about to give Oaths as a Lawyer on a day in the Month of December 2016.

MISSION OF MEDIA SERVICE

  • During the period of carrying out University Education, he was attached to the National Rupavahini Channel as a media person.
  • As an actor cum background narrator in the ‘Akura’ Program of the National TV channel.
  • Presented a documentary Program known as ‘Dibha with Kekira’ in the National TV Channel.
  • Acted as a media person in ‘Satana’ program of ‘Sirisa TV’ channel.

TEACHING PROFESSION

  • He had been working as a tutor as tution teacher in History subject for GCE O/L and also taught Political Science for GCE A/L classes in several academic institutes.

THE FINAL HOURS OF KALPA’S LIFE

It was about to commence the final examination of the Law College on the 11th July 2016.

He was studying hard for the preparation of the examination at the night of 8th June 2016. Having received a telephone call from a friend of him, he set off home t respond to his friend.

While he was riding the bike given by his friend, he met with a fatal accident and passed away on the spot. His untimely death, is a great loss of a worthy resource for all of us as well as for the whole country. If he were living, he would certainly have been a great citizen, a competent lawyer, a valuable teacher and also a clever media person. So, it is a great loss that Kalpa’s life bereavement to us personally and to the country.
